It is with great pleasure that I begin this blog.  This blog will serve to update the world with any and all progress, news, and whatever else we deem worthy on:

"POOR BOYS PICTURES"

Within the week we will officially be Poor Boys Pictures, LLC.  I will keep you updated.

We at Poor Boys Pictures (PBP) aim to make our own brand of Independent Film.  With that,  we start with our very first offering.

"The Poor Boys" (Obviously where we take our name from)

 is a feature length independent comedy, currently in the pre-production stage.  We have a great script and four fully committed producers.  The four of us take great pride in putting out the highest quality of art and entertainment that we can for the budget we have allotted.  Always maintaining a professional look, feel, and sound.

We are currently locking down a final script and continuing our search for financing.  Our target goal for The Poor Boys feature is the $100K range.  With $30K locked, as of 03.07.09, we have every intention of making this feature.  Cost aside:  We would make this film for $5 if we had it, and we would make it for $5 million.  We are committed 100%

This comedy follows 2, best-friend, con artists as they try desperately to maintain their jobless lifestyle. Sully and Mac pay their bills by scamming anyone and everyone.  Everything from selling horse betting tips, insider trading, ransom, to damn near prostituting their bodies to their flamboyant neighbor.  When times get tough they ultimately must decide: "Pay or Quit!"

Knowing that quitting is not an option, and getting jobs is the farthest thing from a possibility.  They must pool all their power, energy and might into the ultimate hustle.  The big question is, "Will this actually PAY off?"

These two are great . . . 

. . . at doing absolutely NOTHING!
